Protect Our Environment

● Jamestown and Middletown are coastal communities, and we need to ensure we are protected from the worst effects of climate change, especially rising sea levels. I will support legislation that helps reduce carbon emissions until we are no longer reliant on this type of energy. As a state and as a country, we need to do everything we can to become energy independent.

Ensure a High Quality Public Education for All Kids

● We also need to ensure all students get a high quality public education and learn in schools that are structurally sound, warm, and safe.

Build Our Economy from the Ground Up

● We need to bolster our economy by helping lift up the lower and middle class, with a focus on helping small and medium sized businesses. For too long, we’ve put big corporations first while neglecting Main St. I will work to change that.
● We need to look out for businesses and cut the red tape that has been so prevalent in Rhode Island. I will find ways to make it easier to do business in Rhode Island.
● We must invest in the jobs, industries and technologies of the future and lay a solid groundwork for generations of Rhode Islanders to come.

Increase Awareness and Support for Mental Health Conditions

● Many families struggle with access to reliable services and support for family members who struggle with mental health conditions. I support improving access, education, and treatment for those who cope with these serious conditions.

Protecting the Rights of All Rhode Islanders

● The decision by the US Supreme Court to to overturn Roe v Wade is deeply concerning to me. I fully support the 2019 law passed in Rhode Island, The Reproductive Privacy Act, that codified Roe into state law. I will always fight for the rights of all women in Rhode Island.
● I’ll support common sense legislation and budgets that properly fund and support senior citizens, individuals living with developmental disabilities, and our most vulnerable citizens.
● I’ll fight to make home health care for the elderly more affordable and accessible.

Helping Working Families

● To start, we need to ensure affordable, accessible housing for everyone. For too many hard-working people, even renting a home is out of reach, let alone purchasing a home. I will support initiatives to build more affordable housing across Rhode Island so everyone who works can afford a home.
● We need to hold the line on burdensome taxes and fees that hurt working families and small businesses
● I will also support more accessible, affordable child care for working Rhode Islanders.

Quality of Life

● Reduce noise pollution
● Clean up our Bay and our shores.
● Continue investing in infrastructure to ensure safe roads and bridges that won’t damage our cars
